I know healthy is possible in any season and stage of life and it's been my mission and thankfully my job to coach clients in finding healthy shifts in their daily routines to live a healthy, happy, fit life. My focus as a health coach is not to add another thing to your schedule, instead we shift things and define what is important and what can be adjusted in this season of life for you to achieve your definition of healthy and start living that life today.

Desires of Your Heart
Hello, I hope you have had a wonderful start to your new year. We've had new blessings along with new surprise and while each day brings new ideas and dreams my goal for the year stands firm; to lean on God wholeheartedly and just be in Him while living my life for Him, which leads me to something I think of often and I wanted to share it with you.
Delight yourself in the LORD; And He will give you the desires of your heart. Psalm 37:4
That verse has been a verse I've known all my life but until about last year, I guess I didn't truly grasp all that it meant and thankfully I do now. It has changed me and my desires for my life, my family, my marriage and my mission here on earth.
The verse is simply saying when you delight in the Lord first and foremost your desires are His desires for you. It's a circle that is worth staying in if you ask me. I think about this daily, because I am challenged and confronted often about what my "role" should be as a mom and wife. I used to come home or stew on certain comments, not because I was convicted or felt guilty but I was asking myself where does someone get the right to tell me what I should or shouldn't be doing in my situation, they don't know my heart and my mission that I feel God has given me.
Bringing me back to the verse, the only one I should ever allow to occupy my thoughts about my actions is God. The fact in itself that the delight of just HIM is good enough, but in return He gives us the desires we have buried in our hearts because they are no longer ours in human nature they are ours through getting close and personal with Him, we should want nothing more than to honor, love and live the life He has called us to live.
I have a calling, I know I do. I have had one for many years and it has been a long road and worth taking with some side trips, and now I see not the end but God's confirmation daily that I am in fact right where I'm supposed to be. It takes conscious thoughts and actions everyday to do my devotions, to write out a schedule that works for homeschooling and my other things, while keeping the house in order but it is so worth it. To see my children read, do math equations and play creatively and they know what I love to do also, they enjoy talking and being a part with me just a much as I love playing with them barbies and Lego. I get to listen to them laugh all day long, we get to explore new places and on cold winter days we like movie time and at bedtime there is no greater feeling than to snuggle with my husband and relax while telling him everything we did during the day and when I say everything I mean it, poor guy.
The point of my thoughts and why I'm sharing them is don't compare, don't let the words of others distract you from doing what God has placed on your heart and in your mind to do. But caution "good things" and "great ideas" pop into our minds all the time. So, before you stand firm on your "situation and calling" spend some time with God and start delighting in Him, because I guarantee once you do that, those comments will be defended on the Word of the Lord and you will be living the life He really has planned for you.
All He wants is for you to spend some time with Him and find your Delight in Him. It is the best place to be, so go and start with prayer and reading His word, all verses have been inspired by Him a personal story or letter just for us and then find a great devotional that speaks to your heart on (motherhood, wife, marriage, personal struggles, trusting, praying) dig deep because you'll end up finding the Desires of Your Heart through Him.
God Bless!

Do you know someone that would be a great motivator and Beachbody Coach?
Can you help me? I'm looking for 2-3 stay at home moms who are interested in doing something for themselves and earning some extra income for their family by creating a business they can do from home. They must be willing to work 10 hours a week and eager to learn from me as I show them what I've shown others.
A health and fitness background is fine, but its absolutely NOT necessary. I will share everything I know with the right person(s) as I am starting a special training in the end of January.
Message me today if you know someone who would fit this description. I really appreciate it!
An Investment in Health
It’s
that time of year when many families are talking about budgets, paying off some
debt, weekly savings plans. It’s all out there for us to research, the forms to
fill in, calculators, self help guides and audio teachings etc.
The same
goes for just about anything we want to invest in or focus our time and efforts
on. Honestly we tried the 52 weeks savings plan last year and we made it to
about week 8, then life happened and it wasn’t on our radar anymore the “new
year” resolutions hype was over and so was our savings plan. Now I understand
may have conquered the savings plan and I say great job! I’m sure you scarified
on some weeks to make it happen.
The
resolution for health and fitness is the number 1 resolution and most
individuals have the same perspective come week 8 the momentum is over and the
Hype has died down and we revert back into our old “easy” ways of life. Maybe more
takeout, less gym time or the cancelled the class you loved, TV and video game
time increase, you eat less veggies and more junk food. Because let’s face it;
they make it easy and we are busy people.
But an
unhealthy lifestyle is a lot less forgiving than an unsuccessful 52 weeks
savings plan. I’m not saying that we should live without a savings plan, what I’m
saying is we need to live a healthy well balance lifestyle that will last a
lifetime. Unlike an inheritance that is usually squandered away these days,
giving your family the gift of a healthy foundation can last for generations to
come.
Think
about how you treat your body and the focus you place on your health. Is it a positive
focus or always negative looking for the next easy fix?
Just like
all the advice we hear and books we can read about savings, the same goes for our
health and fitness, unfortunately the same results happen, we can read, plan,
write down our goals, but until we put them in to action every day, weeks and
months we have not truly made an investment in our health and fitness. Think of
it as your 52 weeks of a health investment, not a quick fix. It took you this
many years to get you where you are and it just might take you the same to do a
180 on your lifestyle, but trust me it’s worth it and you are worth it. Look
around and ask yourself “are the generations that follow you worth it?”
I’m here
to help you complete your 52 weeks of a health plan. So this time next year you
are not setting the same goals for your health but reaching further and setting
even greater goals why? Because you are going to be in the best health of your
life, maybe you’ve always wanted to run a marathon, need to quit smoking or get
off medicines, perhaps better health gives you a better job making savings more
attainable and therefore a vacation is in your future. The possibilities are
endless when you give yourself the respect you need to reach your fitness goals,
increase your energy and gain confidence to go where you want to go.
Joy for
fitness encourages you to dream your biggest dream, but when you wake up it is time
to get working on making it happen. Believe in 2014 that you will be blessed
for the work you have done.

Here's your receipt: the End of your story or just the Beginning
So, I’m sure you’ve all walked into stores this week and I know you’ve seen the transformation from Christmas gifts and decorations to exercise and health products. Well as I walked through Wal-Mart last night the thought came to my mind the isles are now fully stocked with exercise clothes, sneakers, weights and DVD programs. As you walk further down you’ll find the protein shakes, bars, low-cal foods and water bottles. Such a sales pitch! hit someone up while the resolutions are fresh on the mind. Smart, it’s called having a marketing team. Something I don’t have, but that’s ok do you want to know why?
I have me and when you ask me to be your coach and we choose
a program and meal plan that will work for you, your lifestyle and needs, you
don’t just walk out the door with money spent. That’s the end of the Wal-Mart
story.
Not so much with me as your coach, getting your program isn’t
the end it’s the beginning, it’s only the prequel to your health and fitness
story. As I thought of this last night I got so excited that what I offer is
something no store or product can offer because I offer me a cheerleader,
supporter, encourager, sometimes someone who pushes you past your excuses and
struggles, someone that cares if you reach your goals. I know that the challenge
packs Beachbody offers work and will work for you, why? First I’ve done them
and have results which is a huge reason I chose to be a coach and second
because it’s a complete program of nutrition and fitness that doesn’t just take
your money, hand you a receipt and let you walk out the door, nope they connect
you with a personal coach that cares and is there to see you through every day
for FREE. I’m that coach! I want to be that person that keeps you accountable in
reaching your goals, not letting your hard earned money you used to purchase
the program go to waste and to celebrate you living a healthier life and
sharing it with others.
Please consider the reasons why or why not you would want a
personal health and fitness coach this year, if this is something you need help
with and want to make a change I’m here to help YOU get:
Fitter, healthier, ready for that wedding, ready for that reunion,
regain the energy you once had and yes get rid of that baby weight once and for
all.
Joyforfitness is more than just exercise, it’s a lifestyle
and I want to be a part of your life if you’ll let me.
Happy New Year!
Make 2014 the healthiest & happiest year of your life.
