"Ending the Trend" one Challenger at a time



Hi there, I hope you can relate to this post today and take away something useful for your week. So many things cross my mind as I clean, cook, exercise and simply live life I always say I’m going to write my thoughts down and share them, but the problem is I usually forget them before I sit-down to share. Oh well such is the life of a busy mom and wife. With that said here is what’s on my mind right now. 


I’ve been on my personal fitness journey for awhile but this new adventure is so much more than just exercise. In the past few weeks I’ve been blessed to be invited and trusted to take part in the journeys’ of others. Wow! All I can say is it’s a humbling experience to be a coach and support system to so many people. I want to share just a few conversations that have blessed me this week. 


Challenger #1 is a husband, dad of 3 soon to be 4, full time job, old knee injuries and surgery, wants to lose 50lbs or more. Signed up with the T25 challenge pack and has made the commitment to get it done. He’s starting week 6 so far he’s lost 20 lbs, cleaned up his diet, drinks Shakeology for daily nutrients, and has increased energy. His son came up to me the other day and said “hey Ms. Joy my dad’s workouts are really helping him” I love that he is setting an example to his children and ending the trend. 


Challenger #2 is a wife, mother of 2, full time job and homemaker, she has tried many diets in the past, doesn’t like to exercise, has seen the scale rise too much and wants to get back the body she knows and feels good in. Started with the T25 challenge pack here are her comments “I can’t do this” “I’m gaining weight and I’m not eating” This isn’t working!” “I’m frustrated and ready to give up” Ending Week 3 she says “I can’t wait for my workout today, I loved working out today and I’m ready for Monday already” this week she has lost 10 lbs. Because she found a balance of eating the right foods and the right amount, drinking her daily dose of nutrition with Shakeology and pushing play every day and has changed her thoughts from I want it now to I will work for what I want for my future.


These stories are just 2 of the many I get on a weekly basis ask me why I didn’t start coaching and supporting others earlier it wasn’t my time but it is now and I’m so grateful to be a part of these transformations and life changes. It’ hard not to share with everyone how important a decision is to get healthy, fit and your life back.

Lower Risk Factors, lose baby weight, run a 5k, regain your energy. Whatever it is I want to know because I would love to share your transformation story with someone else
